Cocokind Resurfacing Face Mask Overnight Treatment Review 2024 | Eco-friendly, clean, exfoliating, bakuchiol facial mask
We tried Cocokind’s Resurfacing Sleep Mask Overnight Treatment for five months, and here’s what we thought…
The Top Line: A STRONG BUY. We used Cocokind’s Resurfacing Overnight Sleep Mask for five months, 1-2x a week and found that it was like a gentle peel — you can definitely feel like working (tingling a bit) on your skin but much gentler than a retinol product that our skin could never really handle. The next day my skin was definitely peeling a little bit and much brighter/smoother without any irritation. We love that the ingredients are relatively clean, but while scent can be a bit odd, we were OK with it. All in all, we love the results for our skin and we LOVE the affordable price point.
The Breakdown:
Cost & Products: $13.60 for 1.7 fl oz.
How ‘Clean’ Is This? Relatively limited and clean ingredients list, only 1 ingredient came up in our research as something to consider:
Packaging: Glass jar with plastic screw top, comes in paper box
Purchasing & Shipping: We purchased on the Amazon
The Experience
Context: We are in our late 30’s and looking for a gentle, natural overnight mask that acts as a gentle peel. We have tried other more expensive resurfacing overnight treatments before, like Paula’s Choice Radiance Renewal Mask and Farmacy Beauty’s Honeymoon Glow, but was intrigued by the ingredients in Cocokind’s Resurfacing Overnight Sleep Mask, and the much lower price point.
Consistency is more liquid than we would like, but it is very easy to apply
Slight tingling when we apply to our face, but we did not experience any irritation
The scent is a bit odd, but not something that would deter us
Our skin next morning definitely feels like it has gotten a gentle peel (some skin flaking off) and overall looked brighter and smoother, while also hydrated
The Cost
We compared the cost ofCocokind’s Resurfacing Overnight Sleep Mask compared with other exfoliating and anti-aging sleep masks from KORA Organics, Paula’s Choice and Beekman 1802:
Money Report: Cocokind’s Resurfacing Overnight Sleep Mask is VERY cost effective when compared to other popular brands, we love to see it!
The Good:
✔ Paper and glass packaging, which we appreciate
✔ Made with plant-based and planet-friendly ingredients such as Bakuchiol, Jojoba Oil and Squalane
✔ Cruelty-free and fragrance-free
✔ Sensitive skin friendly
✔ While it is a peel, it is also hydrating
✔ Really fantastic price point
Things to consider:
✗ Includes Polysorbate 60, which received a 1-3 in EWG’s Skin Deep Database rating
✗ Scent is a bit odd, but it did not deter us
